Artistic Director
Originally from Brisbane, Australia, Ms. McCormac completed her Masters in Dance at The Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts in 2006. A registered teacher of The Royal Academy of Dance, Ms. McCormac holds her Jazz Award and Teaching Diploma in Tap for the Commonwealth Society of Teachers of Dance and in 2002 was the recipient of the Commonwealth Society of Teachers of Dances’ Blue Sash Award. A successful audition for LINK Dancer’s Company in 2005, spurred a European tour and an invitation to join the Golden Key International Honor Society. In 2008, Ms. McCormac moved to New York City to join Barry Blumenfeld’s Tap Fusion, Ellen Stokes-Shadle’s Dance Works and the faculty at Perfect Pointe Performing Arts Studio. In 2011, Ms McCormac founded CoreDance Contemporary, an Australian Modern Dance Company, which holds residence in New York City. Still living and working in the New York Tri-State area, she has been commissioned to teach, choreograph and judge, classical, contemporary, modern and tap work on both a national and international scale. Most recently she was engaged as the Dance Adjudicator for the 2018 Southern Tasmanian Dancing Eisteddfod, TAS, and to teach master classes at The Dance Complex in Boston and at Peridance in New York City. McCormac has an interdisciplinary approach to her work drawing ideas both contextually and visually to create work that is engaging for herself and her audience. Her work has been shown at APAP New York City Center, The ODC Theatre San Francisco, The Dairy Arts Center Boulder, The Dance Complex Boston, CHI Movement Arts Center Philadelphia, Your Move NJ, Alvin Ailey, New York City Center, Steps on Broadway, DANY Studios, PMT, Dixon Place, White Wave, Triskelion Arts, The Actors Fund Arts Center and Green Space.

Jessica Nolan began her dance training in Australia and continued upon moving to Canada. In Edmonton, AB she graduated from the Victoria School for the Performing and Visual Arts with a scholarship to attend The State University of New York (SUNY) Purchase. Jessica studied abroad at The Western Australian Academy for Performing Arts. While in the Conservatory of Dance at Purchase she performed works by George Balanchine, Twyla Tharp, Lar Lubovitch, Justin Rutzou and Kyle Abraham. She has performed with MADArt and Periapsis Music and Dance. This is Jessica’s seventh season dancing for CoreDance Contemporary under the direction of Rebecca McCormac.

Rebecca, originally from Staten Island, New York, graduated with a BFA from SUNY Purchase Conservatory of Dance. While there she performed works by Doug Varone, Ori Flomin, Mark Morris, and John Heginbotham. She also studied in Perth, Australia at the Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts, focusing on contemporary dance and aerial circus silks. Rebecca has danced with Synthesis Dance Project, Copy That Dance, and was a guest artist in Doug Varone's Choreographic Intensive where she had the opportunity to dance with Dance Householder, MATYCHAK, and Sum Bones Co. This is Rebecca's seventh season with CoreDance Contemporary and she is thrilled to continue her journey with the company.

Bethany Kellner

Bethany Kellner began her dance training at the age of two at a local competition studio and a classical ballet school in Buffalo, NY. To further her training, Bethany studied at the Conservatory of Dance at SUNY Purchase College where she graduated Summa Cum Laude in May of 2018 with a BFA in Dance Performance and a Minor in Arts Management. While at Purchase, Bethany had the opportunity to study abroad in Asia at the Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts. Bethany has trained with Alonzo King LINES Ballet, BalletX, Complexions Contemporary Ballet, Hubbard Street Dance Chicago, DanceWorks Chicago, RiverNorth Dance Chicago, and Ballet Hispanico to name a few. She has performed the works of Dexandro Montalvo, Brian Enos, Iratxe Ansa, George Balanchine, David Fernandez, and Michelle Thompson Ulercich among others. Bethany currently lives in NYC dancing professionally with Hudson Ballet Theatre, Encounters Dance, and Kins Dance Company in addition to CoreDance Contemporary.

A graduate of Pace University’s BFA Commercial Dance Program, Larah Pamplin is now a dancer and teacher in NYC. A member of SynthesisDANCE and CoreDance Contemporary, you may have seen her in various NYC concert performances. Recent credits include “Amy’s Victory Dance” a feature film premiering in 2019 and Ego Altar - SynthesisDANCE’s full length winter concert.

From Newton, NJ, Gina graduated cum laude with a B.A in Dance and a minor in Business from DeSales University. While there, she performed works by Antony Tudor, José Limón, Donald McKayle, Colby Damon, Julia Mayo and Tara Madsen-Robbins. She has performed and presented work at the American College Dance Festival in both Kalamazoo, MI and Natchitoches, LA. Gina has also trained for two summers at the Bates Dance Festival in Lewiston, ME, where she has worked closely with artists such as Kate Weare, Doug Gillespie, Riley Watts, Autumn Eckman and Kendra Portier. She has performed professionally in other dance festivals including the KYL/D inHale/exHale series in Philadelphia, the Liberty Hall Dance Festival in Union, NJ and Downtown Dances in Lancaster, PA. Now based in NYC, she is freelancing and currently dances with emme dance collective. Gina is excited for her second season with CoreDance Contemporary, under the direction of Rebecca McCormac.
